Steve’s interest in the natural world started at a very early age, followed soon after by his passion for photography when he received his first camera at the age of eight. Steve went on to hone his skills at Central Saint Martins and in an advertising agency before setting up his own studio. His work focuses on animals and landscapes in both stills and moving image and he has been lucky enough to work with some great ad agencies and clients on campaigns for brands such as Andrex, Pedigree, Mars, Whiskas, Purina, Hills, Lexus, Landrover and Lloyds. Projects have taken him all over the world and his works ‘Galapagos’, ‘Chile’, ‘Madagascar’ and ‘Safari’ explore increasingly fragile environments and the wildlife that inhabits them. Closer to home Steve’s work ‘Staffordshire’ was created in support of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and his Cat and Dog portraiture was honoured in a special issue of Royal Mail Stamps. Steve’s work is exhibited in galleries and in private collections internationally and has been selected for AOP Awards, Royal Photographic Society Awards, Arles Photographic Festival and Aesthetica Photography Awards.
