Coming across the vast plain with little crops growing in late summer, I encounter a people whose culture is full of rich music and freedom in nomadic life without boundaries. Their love for family, each other and unexpected guests is shown in constant laughter to welcome a stranger; their openness is infectious. Their joy of life is in stark contrast to the hardships of their everyday life living in the open with Hani (Southeastern Turkey) in the distance. The men must travel far for work to support the women and children. The Gypsies have no welfare and live without official identity.
