During a backpack trip to Dusy Basin in King\'s Canyon National Park, California, I found this tarn that reflected Isosceles Peak and the granite wall of the Palisades. I returned to this location as a thunderstorm cleared near sunset and watched as the setting sun bathed the peaks. As the last rays of sun hit the summits, it looked like the candles atop a cake.
