New Hampshire\'s Crawford Notch experiences some of the strongest winds in the White Mountains. Winds are channeled through a narrow opening at the top of the notch and combined with heavy snow created whiteout conditions. With the aid of some backlighting, I was able to capture the blowing snow and ferocious wind which are part of life in The Notch.
