Sausalito is San Francisco Bay Area city where some of the richest and some of the poorest people of the American society live. Luxury villas line the coast, about 120 boats lie at anchor in the bay. Most of them serve for housing purposes. The two weeks old Eugene lives with his parents on a barge at anchor. Early in the morning he lies on the bow of their dinghy, wrapped in a life jacket and covered with a tiger blanket. They use the dinghy to paddle ashore. Its the only way to come and go, they transport all their needs like food, water, laundry with the dinghy.
