Childhood in Britain is about playing Knights, Fair Maidens, Dragons, Castles. There are plenty of spaces and places to exercise the imagination. This photo is taken at the ruins of the ancient Rievaulx Abbey in the county of North Yorkshire in the midst of a play between two sisters. One is rather serious and the other being a sort of jester with what was meant to be a chain mail hood that looks like it slipped down a bit!
