Kola is 11 years old and was brought up in the neighbourhood of Mariopol (East Ukraine). In August 2015, Kola together with his 4-year-old brother Dyno and two other friends came across a mine (land mine) which exploded. Dyno died instantaneously. Kola lost his two legs and one arm.
