It was a cold Sunday in Iceland as I sat and observed this young local girl explore the Continental Divide called Þingvellir. Like all children, water is a magnet. She contemplated the danger of hopping rocks and slipping, tenatively she would think about taking a step forward and hold back. The Icelandic children spend their hours outside, loving nature and enjoying the simple things the environment has to offer. She never knew I was there, but I found as much joy watching her thinking as she contemplated her next move.
