Elizabeth tried as best she could to escape quickly from the awkward social moment of her first breakup. Her boyfriend had just broken up with her when she ran into him at the store. Tearful and with her heart still breaking, the first love of her youth ripping at her, she hopped in the car and looked out the window to avoid seeing him. This moment was real and very painful for her. I happened to be with her and some other young women that day, and watching her want to curl up into a tiny ball when no one could see her broke my heart too. She needed to get away fast.
