India, one of the fastest growing countries in the world, November 5, 2013, sent a rocket in the direction of Mars. After more than three hundred days of flight, the Indian spacecraft reached orbit around the Red Planet. Journey to the alien planet is symbol of meetings with the reality of India. The sense of alienation felt on the streets of Indian cities on the one hand, clear and on the other, for each time, though predictable, always intensely confusing. This impression is the basis, the foundation of the project. The sense of confusion and surprise characters and situations recorded in the photographs is compounded by book layout. Additionally edition by suggesting visual and semantic links between images invites recipients to play in destroying stereotypes about the Orient and discover the new face of modern India. Photographs taken in 2013-2015, New Delhi, India. Concept and photographs: Maciej Jeziorek Design: Kasia Kubicka Self published
