A traditional Rajput wedding unfolds along the dark streets of Bundi, Rajasthan. In a procession known as "nikasi", the groom's party gather in the street to make their way towards the local temple. The nikasi is illuminated by groups of children, who hold glowing fluorescent tubes and old umbrellas strung with lightbulbs, each powered with live electrical wire fed by a chugging mobile generator. It's a spectacle at once enchanting and precarious.
