My Chasm Series was captured while visiting one of the most beautiful rain forest areas of Milford, New Zealand in early 2016. I had been shooting with my digital Canon MarkIII camera when it suddenly froze and I had to grab my Canon G9 to finish the shots as I was on a tour and they wouldn’t wait for me to fix the problem. I was amazed at the facial features and other animal shapes and contours one could perceive and imagine while looking at these phenomenal forms of glacial nature. Such beauty just waiting to behold and visualized within your lens! Taking each image into Adobe Photoshop, I decided to crop each to their best visual perspective while using various tools and software to finalize and render the finished image series.
