Walls of Glass is a series of 4 images created through a particular print process using documented portraits of individuals within train cabins. Focusing on the brief transient moments of connection- or lack thereof- between the train commuters and the artist; Choo seeks to hold on to a shared intimacy beyond physicality. In attempt to parallel the need to pause and to slow down, she adopts a printing technique wherein the ink is laid upon a coated surface and left to run over time.
