The Tong Shun Opera Troupe has been in existence for more than thirty years in Malaysia, and the origin of the troupe was brought in by the Chinese migrants in the early 1930s. These series depicts the second generation of the troupe, and will be their final performances after they retire, with replacements by sexily clad singers as the opera modernize, bringing the curtain down to the existence of a culture that is as synonymous as the Chinese themselves.
