Women in Afghanistan have a hard life comparing to women in the middle east, Europe or the western world. They are often regarded as oppressed and not able to make their own decisions in life. Even Though Taliban's ruling has ended more than 10 years ago, women in Afghanistan are still wearing the Burkas. With my project I tried to show the differences between these women and their characters through a different optical version. With the jewelry and accessories I try to give this anonymous ladies a feminine touch. The project should drop some light on women's situation in Afghanistan.
