Taken in April 2016, this photo attempts to “re-create” an eye by using items associated with chemistry. A flask containing crystal was suspended above a reflective surface, and this image was taken from above. The contrast between the crystals at the centre of the photo and the shimmer that radiates from the centre creates an imagery of an eye. This invites the audience to look into the “eye” and see a different world. What world can you see when you look into my eye?
