Origin is about where we've come from. Before civilisation, the whole world was just nature itself. And it is very obvious that 'Water', 'Soil', and 'Plant' existed before all living things made their own debuts. So I planned this series with these three important materials. When I thought of the word, origin, the first impression was fluidic mixture of something. There was no scientific terms like solid, fluid or gas. So I decided to transform all of them into fluidic texture. I believed that origin should be in one form. First of all, 'Water' was easy because it is already fluidic. Secondly, I went to an unpaved road with many trees lining up on a side and waited until the sun made long shadows of the trees. I made a horizontal movement of my camera roughly in the direction of the shadows. Finally, I could get a fluidic form of 'Soil'. I did the same thing on a small tree to get a fluidic image of 'Plant'
