Fifty nine portraits of young Afro-Descendants, residents in the favelas (slums) of Brazil. Brazil is an extremely and violent country. Every year more than 30,000 young people are murdered for several reasons. Of these, 77% are Afro-Descendants people. That is to say that: In Brazil, 59 young Afro-Descendants are murdered every day. These pictures were made in various slums located in Sao Paulo, Salvador and Rio de Janeiro during the years 2015/2016.
