This series of images explores the environmental challenges that family’s face as they live and work on a rubbish dump. The Companies who own the dumpsites have begun burning large areas of waste in order to make space for new rubbish, which has made the air increasingly toxic and dangerous. Along with the combination of high levels of methane gases that are released from the decaying rubbish and the large amount of medical waste that is dumped has made the environment so hostile and unbearable for the families that work on the dumpsite.
