The "Samaj Gayan" is underway during the Holi festival celebrations(2016) at Nandgaon Temple,U.P,India.The ordinary meaning of the word "Samaj" is "group" or "assembly", and "Gayan" means "Singing". The group of devotees sit together and sing the devotional verses or "horis" (ballads) in particular style about the love of "Radha" and "Krishna".
