I'm from the Caribbean, where it is always "summer" , sunny days, heat and the green of nature is guaranteed throughout the year. My hometown, Maracaibo,like my new home, Toronto ,is located close to a huge lake ( Lake of Maracaibo) This series began to take shape during spring of 2012 while exploring my new home and my own neighborhood by the lake. Somehow, as a way of overcoming the distances and yearnings of self-exile, stressed by my first "winter blues" ever. At the same time has becoming a way to understand my new home culture, their people and their relationship with the lake.
