Journeying down Hollywood Boulevard you quickly get introduced to the large homeless population in the area. I met Eddie east of Vine near the Pantages Theater. Eddie is a homeless man that speaks very softly and is hard to understand. He was enamored with “Old Time Glamour of Hollywood.” One of his quotes during our conversation was “without the silent movies there would be no sound at all” and yet he held up his copy of “In Touch Weekly” and discussed what George Clooney was up to. Our discussion would drift from stories of when he stayed at the Hollywood cemetery to where he grew up in Indian to issues associated with being homeless and getting basic medical care. These discussions were periodically interrupted by the bus passing by to Eddie suddenly nodding off. Eddie has been on the street for a long time…
