In late 2015 I began to reflect on idea of unique images. Early on, I experimented instant Polaroid/Fuji and then I approached vintage B&W gelatin silver papers. Shooting on 4x5 and 8x10 inch large format cameras, I use papers on my film holders in place of negative, exposing them straight to the sun for long exposures from seconds to hours: the intense light literally burn papers, inverting the latent image to a positive with holes and colored hints. Only few kinds of papers give acceptable results. Since they are expired (most in 60/70’s) I'm not able to predict what I got until development. The final result is a one of a kind and three-dimensional print. This project allows me to get in touch with traditional photography and legendary gelatin silver papers; to achieve unique images and to live my time in some unexpected way, warmed by sun and a sense of bliss
