These are the children of tea garden workers of TERAI Tea Garden, North Bengal region who are surviving on just Rs. 95 as their daily wages. These workers are basically from Adivasi group. Adivasi is an umbrella term for a heterogeneous set of ethnic and tribal groups considered the aboriginal population of South Asia. Adivasi make up 8.6% of India's population or 104 million, according to the 2011 census, and a large percentage of the Nepalese population. These were migrated from Jharkhand and forced to work in tea gardens since British era and are still fighting to survive within Rs 95. Amidst of these hardship these kids manage to enjoy their time out.
