The “Future History” series of archistract art photographs depicts the inner and outer worlds of Daniel Libeskind’s sculptural composition of architectural forms and crystalline angles of the Royal Ontario Museum. The photos represent the Michael Lee-Chin Crystal and Stairs of Wonder in the paused enlightenment of a photographer’s vision and the contemplative silence found in the light and shadows of the architecture itself. Each photo refers to a concept of imagining or envisioning the future through prediction, possibility, paradox, perception, and prescience.
