This photo report is about the Sexual Assault Response Team (S.A.R.T), a groundbreaking pilot program delivering state of the art forensic and counseling services within one hour of arrival to every sexual assault victim presenting for care at the Bronx public hospital, New York. I had the chance to follow that team during month and I was deeply touched by the commitment of these people showing the way for the protection of individual rights, when you know that one people is sexual assaulted every two minuts in the United States, and in a disproportional high level in the Bronx.
