A juxtaposition- I was born & lived my artistic education in France; a cultural & artistic hub, boasting one of the world’s most creatively experimental capitals (my negatives as a metaphor to my first steps in photography,) & yet was raised in Kuwait what is considered to be a late developing nation, with a sleepy & stagnant fine arts sector (my silhouetted portraits.) Histoire Urbaines is a series of portraits of a city that inspired my creative process.
