Temporality explores the notion of collective remembering of Singapore islands. The islands have seen abandonments, acquisitions, reclamations, and resettlements, in the name of progress and development, which made recollection a disorienting experience. The series draws reference to the sea as a constant presence as well as a repository of memories. It reimagines narratives where boundaries between people, truth and memories are blurred, through interwoven images of the old and the contemporary. It is also a record of the artist's own journey in searching for a sense of belonging.
