Pehlwans is a series of photos that I've taken in India. In a sacred place that they were burning human corpses there was a place that some people doing a traditional wrestling. we managed to get permission from their coach to take some shots for about ten minutes. I decided to focus more on bodies and the beautifully of that tided muscles. Pehlwan is a person that do Pehlwani or kusti that is a form of wrestling from South Asia. It was developed in the Mughal era by combining native malla-yuddha with influences from Persian koshti pahlavani. The words pehlwani and kusti derive from the Persian terms pahlavani and koshti respectively. (from wikipedia) Full collection here: http://farsad.me/projects/pehlwans/
