When these photographs were taken, around 300 Jews were living in Yemen (North). We are in the north, four hours by car in the mountains west Saada. The Jews had no passport ; they could only be artisans as a traditionnal activity. Today less than 30 Jews are still living in Sanaa. End of this community in Yemen since 3.000 years
