This photograph is one of a series I shot while travelling throughout Poland. This Easter coincided with the canonisation ceremony of one of Poland’s most famous sons, and provided a tremendous opportunity to immerse oneself in Polish culture. Churches across the country were busily decorating their altars for this unique occasion.
