A mystical place within Chinese mythology, the Yellow Mountains of Huangshan have drawn poets and painters for centuries. At a time when China is rushing forward to economic prosperity, it is also forgetting and annihilating a lot of its traditional heritage. Although invaded for a major part of the year by hordes of tourists, these mountains, when a heavy fog covers them, become again a haven for isolation and contemplation.
