21 km from the Palace of the President of Poland in Warsaw still exists the brickyard that produces according to the XIX century’s formula. The heart of the factory is a Hoffmann’s oven – a big construction filled up with the dried bricks that are fired by the never-ending, describing a circle, fire. But the real treasure of this unit are the workers – half-craftsmen, half-artists. The work is half-manual, impossible to measure with the present-day tolls and ISO’s.
