After the age of steel, we are now in the age of plastic: superior polymer era. After cruising around the world and its seven seas over and over again, this protean chemical substance has finally seeped into the organs and blood stream of the specie that engineered it. Besides modifying the nature of fun as early as childhood (R. Barthes Mythologies: “plastic toys fade the pleasure, softness and humanity out of the sense of touch”), global plasticization also consumes social memes and alters the behavior of all living things. My project intends to develop a play on images on this theme. A play on logo the aim of which is to examine advertising and marketing codes as well as subvert them by way of thought associations and reveal their non-sense.
