Most of my personal projects revolve around the theme of cultural heritage. Therefore from the start of researching for a new project until the actual execution my mind constantly wanders back and forth between different periods or even centuries, giving me a sense of traveling in time. This self-portrait was taken in a 1200 years old cave monastery in Cappadocia/Turkey.
