In january 2015 together with a german charity organization I visited their projects at the Philippines. Between the strong circumstances (poorness and sexual abuse) of the children at the dump sites and the cemeteries, I´ve seen a lot of HOPE between the moments. Love, hope, faith and brotherhood is there meant to be much greater than in the western civilization. The whole Story with up to 100 photographs will be shown these balancing act within an exhibition and as a book at the end of 2015.

Story

In january 2015 together with a german charity organization I visited their projects at the Philippines. There I´ve seen a lot of sadness at the dump sites and the cemeteries, Children are sleeping in graves or on the dump site between rats and sick dogs. Little girls up from five years have been sexual abused from their brothers, fathers or even grandfathers... Some of them sold to the sexual slavery... But between all of this hard circumstances, I´ve seen also a lot of HOPE. Love, hope, faith and brotherhood is at this place meant to be much greater than in the western civilization.

The whole Story with up to 100 photographs will be shown these balancing act within an exhibition and as a book at the end of 2015.

The project itself from my side is meant to be a pioneer of social responsibly within the photography. The photographs from the exhibitions as well as the book will be sold and the whole amount will be given directly WITHOUT any deduction (costs are taken by myself and sponsors) to the projects where the photographs are taken. So at the end the child in need what is shown on the photograph will be benefit directly - and this is my personal meaning of social responsibility within photography. And I hope that this project will inspire more photographers all over the world to make their contribution.
