Sudan is known for being the last male of his subspecies and one of only five living Northern White Rhinoceroses on Earth. At 42 years old he doesn't have much time left. He is looked after by keepers and protected by armed guards 24-7 on Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya. Here there is tiny hope in a "Last Chance To Survive" breeding program with three other Northern White Rhinoceroses but sadly breeding attempts so far have been unsuccessful. These images are a tribute to his last stand.
