In 1944, after 5 years of occupation and tragic uprising, Warsaw was burnt to ashes. Now, after over 72 years, it becomes a big metropolis - the city is great as never before, and it's changing in a blink of an eye. I wanted to show this change in a unique way - by making the first night aerial photographs of this city, flying 3000ft over it's center. Preparations of Warsaw On Air lasted for a few months. Flying over the big cities is strictly forbidden, so I had to gain special permissions and funds for renting a two-engine helicopter capable of flying in such an area. I succeeded thanks to my sponsors and crowdfunding campaign. It was a lifetime experience and I still can't believe it really happened. I hope my work breaks stereotypes and shows people in Poland we have much to be proud of.
