This series of photographs indicate the image of Iranian culture from behind the veil of curtains. A complicated culture, in effort of not being seen, and an evident invasion for sighting others’ lives; a spinning paradox (dichotomy). Looking at others routines, sneaking and watching them in this project was somehow looking at our own lives. Exploring the lives of others and the fear of not being seen, couldn’t perhaps have had another result than of reaching a point. A point which we named it “Kathmndu”. A fictitious name, reminding us both of an old memory.
