Sistan and Baluchestan is Southeastern Province of Iran, bordering Pakistan and Afghanistan. During the last decade the province has been attacked occasionally by Islamic fundamentalist groups. In order to confront with the terrorists, The Islamic Republic of Iran has built a border wall on the borders of the province with the two countries, Pakistan and Afghanistan, and Iranian Border Guards control the region strictly. One of the most important terrorist groups that have carried out several attacks to Iran since 2003 is Jundallah. Jundallah (“Soldiers of God”) is a fundamentalist militant organization was allegedly founded in 2003 and designated a terrorist organization by Iran and United States in 2010. Jundullah have been referred to as separatists by various media and Iranian leaders have stated that Jundullah is proxy group used by the enemies of Iran to destabilize the Islamic Republic. Jundallah was founded by Abdolmalek Rigi, an Iranian Baluch and Sunni fundamentalist, who was captured and executed in Iran in 2010. The organization is compromised of Wahhabi Sunnis who bielive that if they kill at least seven Shiit Muslims they will go to heaven.. In order to fight against these terrorist organizations, The Islamic Republic of Iran has executed some of their members after being captured. The suicide attack depicted in the photos has been allegedly carried out by Jundallah. The suicide bombing was carried out in12/15/ 2010, in Chabahar in Sistan and Baluchestan province in a Shia mourning ceremony, called Ashura. In response to the attack, the Islamic Republic of Iran executed 11 members of Jundallah in in12/16/ 2010 in the prison where they were being kept after capturing.
