Entry Description

This image was shot in Mesa Verde, Colorado. Standing within the ruins of an ancient civilization, I watched in awe as nature unleashed its power upon the desert, the distant snow-capped mountain dwarfed by its fury. These frequent storms ravage Mesa Verde, often leading to devastating forest fires, leaving miles of scorched, skeletal trees stretching across 50% of the national park in the last decade.
