The Rhône Glacier at the Furka Pass in the heart of the Swiss Alps, it was on of the best typical postcards from Switzerland. Today the famous glacier used as background of the film 007 - Goldfinger (1964), it is the most worrying symbol the retreat of glaciers in the Alps. A natural historical icon of the Swiss Alps identity is replaced by a very kitsch 3D trompe l'oeil to tray to attract the tourists. The Rhône Glacier lost almost 1300m in 120 years, leaving behind its a naked tongue of eroded beautiful granite. Furka Pass, Switzerland, 2016.
