At precisely sunset this iceberg startled me with its beauty. There is no air pollution in Antarctica, providing incredible quality to light. Unfortunately there is a major flaw involving ozone over the region, making solar radiation much more potent, and ice of this size is increasingly rare. I was fortunate to experience and capture its image before it is gone. The Greenland ice cap is experiencing the same effect. Seeing this, it's hard to believe those who tell us with authority that climate change is a myth. Additional technical: Nikon D810, Sigma 50-500 at 95mm, aboard National Geographic Explorer.
