Sebastian Hofmann is the first climber worldwide not only to put up a route in Vanuatu, but inside an active volcano. He dreamt about this adventure for over five years, before the conditions were right and he could finally establish and climb the route, rated 7+ and named "Hot Stick". To get this shot with the red glow of the Benbow Volcano, "Basti" had to climb at night, which made it even more dangerous.
