Created to show that one does not need a perfect body to have self confidence. The snake was added for an element of trust and courage.
Eric Garcia-March is a conceptual and environmental portrait photographer based in New York CIty. An ardent lover of art and music, he paints abstract oil paintings and plays guitar in his spare time. A former lecturer in photography at CITM, Image Processing and Multimedia Technology Center, in Barcelona, he is also the recipient of the 2010, International Aperture Award and Spainâ€™s 2007 Lux Award presented by the Association of Professional Photographers (Spain). He studied photography at Brooks Institute of Photography, and holds a B.F.A. in Painting from Kansas City Art Institute as well as an M.A. in Studio Art from New York University. Inspired by the creative scenes around him, whether in NYC or Barcelona, Eric devoted himself initially to fashion photography, and spentÂ his spare time working on his conceptual portrait portfolio. His work has been published in magazines and books such as Moda Fad,Â Mondo Sonoro, Neo2, Rock Delux, Rolling Stone, Serendipity and Vanidad. He has worked with many advertising agencies andÂ companies worldwide including Ogilvy & Mather, BBDO, McCann Erickson, Swarovski, Austrian Airlines, Hewlett Packard and manyÂ others.
