The inspiration for these photographs is the exquisite and unique beauty of the N.S.W. Snowy Mountain landscape. All the images are composites of a number of exposures taken over a period of time, either at dawn or dusk, using a tripod. Torch light has been used to illuminate the subject and then is selectively combined with natural light to achieve the final result. I believe that light painting is especially effective in revealing the delicate (and easily overlooked) features of the landscape.
