The works express circulation of life, that is, reincarnation. It is strongly inspired by the fact that I scattered my father's ashes in the sea as he wished. When a wave swept his ashes away in a moment, I really felt that the sea is the source of life and the place to return to. They are composed of a combination of the sea and several sceneries. There is a jump of image in each work, that is, light and dark, stillness and motion and so on. It connotes transition of two images though it was not shown apparently. So I intended to express the impermanence of all things.
