I shot this picture in Tel Aviv, where a man in summer clothes stopped in the middle of the street. He put on the Teffli, the traditional small black leather boxes containing scrolls of parchment inscribed with verses from the Torah and started to do his prayer in front of a wall with playmobil graffiti. I liked the contrast of the scene and how the spike on the head of the playmobil figures mirrors the kippa on the head of the man doing his prayer.
