A series of aerial photographs from the Landmannalaugar mountain range in the Highland region of Iceland. Taken from a helicopter, the images reveal the abstract and unique patterns revealed as the winter snow melts in early summer. The unique landscape has a painterly appearance with a palette of white and shades of grey from snow stained volcanic ash. This is contrasted by varying hues of yellow and orange from the rhyolite rocks, which geologically give the mountains their distinctive look.
