Bixby Bridge is an iconic structure on US Hwy 1 in Big Sur California. At night it is even more amazing with the milky way in the sky. This image is a three image panorama. The foreground and bridge was exposed for 5 minutes at f2.8 and ISO 1250 the additional sky images were exposed at f2.8 for 30 seconds at ISO 2000. The light streak is of a south bound car.
Having a lifetime passion for photography and a graduate of Brooks Institute, in recent years I have taken an avid interest in outdoor photography. Living on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula, it was a natural inclination to take up outdoor and fine art photography. I have explored the many inspiring locations around the Central Coast of California, photographing the immense beauty I see. My images have appeared on the covers of Popular Photography Magazine, Where Berlin Magazine and Valley Yellow Pages. My clients include Samsung, Axel Springer SE, Ernst and Young, The Weather Channel, Fairfax Group Australia, Conda Calendars, and Weldon Owens Publishing.
